Use an anchor word before moving an enlarged view. Magnification can make a passage easier to see, but a small visible fragment can lose the qualification that gives the sentence its meaning.
Enable and control magnification
Open Settings, Accessibility, Magnification and enable its shortcut. In full-screen magnification, drag with two fingers to pan and pinch to adjust the level. Use the shortcut again to stop. Some steps require Android 13 or later; see Google's magnification instructions for device-specific details.
Practise on a static help passage, not a live action button. Begin at its heading. Before each pan, note the last complete word you can read. After moving, find that word or the adjoining phrase so you can establish continuity rather than guessing which paragraph is now visible.
Read a complete hypothetical notice
Imagine this practice notice: heading “Label changes”; date “Not specified”; instruction “Do not approve a change until the complete message is read.” These are invented reading materials, not directions for an actual account.
Suppose the enlarged view initially shows only “approve a change”. That fragment does not tell you whether “not” appears before it. Pan toward the sentence beginning and check the full instruction. Then use “complete message” as the anchor for moving toward the sentence end. Record the whole sentence only after both parts have been seen.
Recover when the sequence is lost
If a broad gesture takes you to an unfamiliar paragraph, stop and return to the heading or a known anchor. Do not tap blindly outside the visible text to find your place. Reduce the magnification if that makes locating the heading easier, then resume the reading sequence.
The completed output should include the heading, visible date information and full instruction, not a collection of disconnected enlarged words.
